The Coach's Pre-Season Comments                 

Bobbi Simons "He works non-stop in practice and it is really paying off for him. He is truly Mister Hustle. He possess a solid glove at catcher. He has really shown improvement in his hitting. I look for great things out of Bobbi."
Joey Clark His defensive skills are ahead of his hitting, but he works to improve daily. His pitching is also improving. Possible relief at pitcher and outfield
Brandon Zollman 'He is one of our top outfielders also and he will be asked to be our number two hitter. He provides the team with great speed in the outfield and at the plate. We feel that he has the potential to be a top player, but must continue his hard work in practice. He possess the ability to get great jumps on the baseball in covering the outfield. He should only get better with each game."
Josh Kibler "He is one of our returning pitchers from last years team. He has a strong arm and hopefully will be in our rotation. He needs to step it up a notch in order for our success."
Adrian Watts "He has been a blessing to the top of the order with his consistent hard hitting. He is also one of our top outfielders and he can cover some ground out there. His bat and outfield play will be important in us reaching our success level."
Joe Vita "He has worked hard to become a consistent infielder. He will be working toward being one of our relief pitchers as well. He is a very dedicated young man. He should be seeing a lot of playing time at second base where he is competing for the job."
Scott Branch "Scott is a starter as a Sophomore. He is very hard worker, and dedicated to improving. I look for good things out of Scott. He will be playing second base and right now is leading in the race for our starting rotation. The weight room has really added a new dimension to his play."
Jonathan Wilson "He works hard in practice on his hitting and fielding. Jonathan is a natural athlete and his competitiveness will inspire the others to stay focused on our goal. He will be also our closer on the mound, because of his strong arm. The weight room has benefited him beyond belief. Jonathan will be counted on to lead the team to our success."
Chris Thompson "Chris has shown improvement from last year on the junior varsity. He will be working at first base and in the outfield."
Ren Scott "He is a very dedicated young man who does whatever we ask and gives 100% to help his team. He is working in the outfield and once his hitting improves he should be better."
Finley Waddell "Finley is working hard to become a consistent infielder and hitter. He could play a major role in our success. Hopefully his leadership will provide the boost our team needs in order to be successful."
Adam Sandridge "Adam is our number one starter on the mound and our hopes will be resting on his arm and intelligence. He will also be handling our designated hitter duties, because of his consistent bat. We desperately need his leadership on the mound and the team."
Justin Strowbridge "He has shown a lot of improvement from last year and will be competing for an outfield position, and possibly pinch hitting."
Nick Ramsey "We are hoping that he continues with his hot bat at the lead off spot. He is the projected starter in LF and is a solid defensive player. He will also be counted on as a possible closer on the mound. He is a young man who can play anywhere on the field. We will be counting on his leadership for our success. He is one of the dynamic outfielders on our team which can cover some ground. His style of play inspires others to work hard."
Will Herndon "Will was All-District honorable Mention last year at catcher. He is recovering from a severe forearm injury. His leadership is vital to us this year."
Kevin Burant "Kevin has really shown improvement since last year. He will be our fourth out fielder and back up catcher. The weight room has definitely benefited him."
Casey Saunders "Casey will be [playing first base for us as a Freshman. He has an excellent bat and provides power to our line up."
